San Franciscans' famous love for its fur babies extends to the dinnerware we provide for them, even public dog bowls on sidewalks.
Former SFist scribe Caleb Pershan snapped the photo below outside a Noe Valley cafe where, indeed, the public dog-water station is an item from Heath Ceramics. It's hard to tell which size and line that bowl is from, but it could easily be worth over $140.
Perhaps there was nothing more disposable on hand when staff realized that there were a lot of panting, sweltering dogs outside? In any event, it goes without saying how neatly and rather un-ironically this fits with the rest of the present-day narrative about the city.
That is all.
