A dude in Dublin, California had an Amazon package delivered over the weekend that ended up trapping him in his apartment due to UPS wedging it under his door handle effectively turning the elongated box into a doorstop.
Twitter user Jessie Lawrence, who has since made his whole account private because he apparently does not want the hassles of fame, posted a picture of the situation to Twitter after he was freed from his delivery-created prison by building maintenance staff he was unable to turn the door handle, you see, to unlatch the door and open it without someone on the outside to help. SFGate first picked up the story, explaining that Lawrence lives on the fifth floor of a building and had no other way to exit.
UPS responded within a half hour, as CBS 5 notes, though it doesn't seem as though they were going to be of much help.

And as Consumerist notes, Lawrence continued to tweet after the ordeal, complaining that UPS could have been responsible for their lives if, say, there were a sudden fire and they had no way to get out their door.
