Two San Francisco bus riders were robbed at gunpoint Wednesday, the victims of a brazen midday heist by a trio of miscreants.
According to the San Francisco Police Department, the shakedown happened at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, near Revere Avenue and Jennings Street, an intersection served by Muni's 54 Felton line.
Police say that two victims — a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman — were seated on the bus when they were approached by a male suspect.
The man "produced a handgun,"police say, and "began to remove [the victims'] belongings from their person."
He then fled from the bus with two other men, which police also characterize as suspects in the crime.
The victims were not injured in the attack, but lost a "necklace, jewelry, cellular phone, wallet" and cash in the theft, according to the SFPD.
Police did not provide any additional details regarding the suspects or their description, but did confirm that all three remain at large, and that no arrests have been made in this case.
