The Giants, who are off to a slow 2 and 5 start this season, are pulling out all the stops for their home opener this afternoon. One group of fans is not throwing away their shot to see the team get back on the field at AT&T Park, and that is the cast of Hamilton: In a stunt with great crossover appeal for fans of the team and the musical, which is now touring in San Francisco, members of the cast are on hand this afternoon, including the likes of Emmy Raver-Lampman (Angelica Schuyler), Solea Pfeiffer (Elizabeth Schuyler) and Amber Iman (Peggy Schuyler). The actors were there, presumably, to enjoy themselves and sing the national anthem, and they'll leave with some solid Giants swag:

For those looking to play hooky and join them, the Giants and Stubhub have mocked up an "official" excuse letter on behalf off the team. Print it out here and see how it goes over.
