Ouch — It stings! A social media manager at the Monterey Bay Aquarium with a sense of humor and nothing to lose decided to make a splash with a Facebook Live caption calling out unnamed "brainless and spineless animals" in the world.

What's so brilliant about the brief remark, of course, is its deliberately vague reference: The shade it casts targets nothing and no one, and therefore everything and everyone we can think of, allowing us to populate the joke however we'd like.
