According to the San Francsico Police Department, some time between 3:56 a.m. and 4:48 a.m. Tuesday, a man in his 20s rode a bicycle up to a porta-potty located on the 1800 block of Turk Street, which is between Broderick and Divisadero Streets.

Police say simply that he "set a portable outhouse on fire and then fled" on his bike, leaving the damaged facility behind him, likely smoldering in the rain.

Police didn't have any further information on the suspect, and did not comment on any traits the crime might share with those from San Francsico's notoriousToilet Torcher, who terrorized portable facilities across the city in 2009. It seems like every time a porta-potty has been set ablaze in San Francisco, we and others write that the TT, "might be back." But let's face it: That serial criminal (assuming that's indeed what the situation was) has likely moved on, either from a life of crime or from the city that so breathlessly followed their pyromania, and these subsequent crimes exist in isolation.

Where was I? Oh, yes, Tuesday's crime. According to the SFPD, the cycling pyro hasn't been seen since, and remains at large as of publication time.
