Marquee At Turk And Larkin Known For Wise Quotations Is Finally Dumbstruck

The usually eloquent, often literary marquee at Kahn and Keville tire shop (Turk and Larkin) has been at last rendered speechless.

Kahn and Keville owner Bill Brinnon has been curating wise quotations and witticisms on the marquee since 1969, and some of those this election season were directly relatable to the election, trolling Donald Trump and his habit of hyperbole. Take, for example, the recent Voltaire quote: "Those who can make you believe absurdities can make you commit atrocities." No longer.

SFist called Kahn and Keville to see if Brinnon were available for comment. He's out today, and I suspect he might not have much to add when he's back in tomorrow.
