Everyone loves Yosemite National Park (even President Obama!), and photos abound of the park in all its glory — think firefalls, art installations, and rare foxes. Well, we know have another picture to add to the stack: Yosemite Valley from space.
The Chronicle highlighted the tweet from Astronaut Jeff Williams calling out the park for its beauty. He also photographed a bunch of other national parks (Badlands National Park, and Olympic National Park to name a few), but, of course, Yosemite is our favorite.
According to the astronaut, the above picture shows Yosemite Valley, Glacier Point, and Half Dome. He also posted a high resolution, wide-angle shot of the park online.
