The season for Off The Grid's weekly food truck party at Fort Mason begins again tonight, March 4, and it promises to be a wet one.

Typically drawing 8,000 to 10,000 people, the OG circling of the city's food truck wagons is welcoming 11 new vendors in this its seventh season, which runs March to November, and includes a total of 31 food vendors. Longtime local favorites like Señor Sisig, the Lobsta Truck, Chairman Bao, and Curry Up Now all serve food beside the newcomers, all in a big outdoor setting with games, three bars, and live music. (Take note: There is also a tented area that can be rented for private parties.)

Kicking off the season tonight, entertainment-wise, will be DJ DSHARP, the official DJ of the Golden State Warriors, and Oakland-based reggae band Clear Conscience.

New to the food array this year is a stand from nearby Marina Italian spot A16 — serving Neapolitan pizzas and house-butchered and cured meats — Bacon Mania, Frozen Kuhsterd, and Izzy’s Cheesesteak.

Says Off the Grid Founder Matt Cohen, “Because of its waterfront location, mix of established street food vendors and new businesses, and amazing vibrant atmosphere, we're proud that Off the Grid: Fort Mason Center feels like a genuinely unique San Franciscan event where people from all over the world come to eat and have fun.”

The fun goes from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. every Friday, starting tonight. Bring an umbrella!
