Capitalizing on good neighbors and their foodie foot traffic like State Bird Provisions and The Progress comes a new lower Fillmore restaurant from a pedigreed chef where you can easily spend your week's allowance. We're talking about Mosu.

Eater reports that chef/owner Sung Anh, whose curriculum vitae includes The French Laundry and Benu, has opened his venture with a bold (and very elegant looking) tasting menu. Most recently, Anh, who hails from Korea, was the chef de cuisine at Aziza.

At Mosu, Anh is playing with Asian flavors and European techniques, telling Eater that "Trying to stay in one theme without being so traditional was a little challenging, but I think I created a menu where people would enjoy all the different Asian flavors and traditions and cultural things they can taste..."

As Tablehopper covered a little bit ago, the menu is $195 per person, with tax and tip not included. Tablehopper later revealed that Master Sommelier Kevin Reilly was on the case, too, compiling the wine list for customer's pairing needs. That might set you back further, you know.
