"So many worries, so little time," says the Kinsey Sicks about their SF-sights-set video, a parody of Bobby McFerrin's easy-listening smash "Don't Worry, Be Happy."
The Kinsey Sicks, self-described as "America's Favorite Dragapella Beautyshop Quartet," take an opposite approach to McFerrin's, urging listeners to get worried, because there's a lot of bad stuff to worry about — a message timed perfectly for Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur (aka the Jewish day of atonement).
"To our Jewish fans," The Kinsey Sicks write, this song will "help get you in shape for all the atoning you have to do (and yes, there is something important that you’ve forgotten). To our non-Jewish fans: aren’t you just a little worried that you don’t really know exactly what the Day of Atonement is???"
Well, we can help you out with that one, or you can just skip the atonement and go straight to the many lovely San Francisco settings at which the Sicks sing their ominous message. Your choice!
