A possibly unhinged female driver got into a hit-and-run accident on Fell Street Thursday evening and in escaping the scene, proceeded to collide with three cyclists on Scott Street, including one who was thrown 20 feet.

The initial collision, between the woman's black Jeep Cherokee and a Mini Cooper, occurred on Fell Street near Scott at 5:40 p.m., as ABC 7 reports. The woman then turned onto Scott Street where she hit the three cyclists. The one thrown 20 feet was taken to the hospital with injuries that were initially considered life threatening but are now considered non-life threatening. The two other cyclists hit were treated at the scene by paramedics for minor injuries. (Hoodline has a report of two people being "dragged under" the car, but it's unclear if it was these same cyclists.)

The woman proceeded to collide with a parked car on the 400 block of Scott Street, and then continued to flee the scene. According to KTVU, the suspect vehicle was later located in South San Francisco, though the Hispanic female suspect has not yet been found. There was also, reportedly, a Hispanic male passenger in the car. The Chronicle says the vehicle was "abandoned" in South S.F.

Anyone with information about the suspect is encouraged to call 911, or the SFPD anonymous tip line at 415-575-4444, or text a tip to “SFPD” at TIP411.
