Well this is fun. The Giants have joined in legal brief along with the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Rays urging the Supreme Court to overturn all remaining state gay marriage bans.
As the Chron notes, the brief says "'inconsistent' state marriage laws impose an economic burden, are discriminatory and damage the way the teams do business."
As CBS Boston notes, the brief is one being filed on behalf of hundreds of businesses across the country.
There are roughly 70 briefs being filed in this case, which the court has on its docket to hear arguments on April 28. Among the briefs is also a "people's brief" filed by the Human Rights Campaign and signed by 207,551 people.
