Just in case you were worried about the fate of hot convict/hot felon Jeremy Meeks, who remains behind bars serving a 27-month sentence on a weapons charge, we have an update via ABC News. They either got him on the phone or sent another reporter out to the Nevada prison where he's serving his time to get some fresh quotes. And, it should be noted, he's hoping to be released by November with credit for time served and good behavior.
"I’m in a place where I will be able to provide for my family and really change my life," Meeks tells ABC. "I never thought that everyone in the world would recognize me for my looks, so I feel extremely blessed and very thankful."
Also, he definitively has an agent now who is setting up a bunch of opportunities for Meeks once he's freed, including "modeling agencies around the world, endorsement deals and reality show interests."
Meeks is now working with agent Jim Jordan of White Cross Management and said he plans to take full advantage of his viral fame.
In preparation for his release and foray into modeling, Meeks said that he is working on getting ripped.
“I eat healthy. I do a lot of push-ups, pull-ups, dips, burpees, and I stay very active,” he said.
Meeks said he wants to try his hand at both modeling and acting. “I wish I could be on a show like 'Sons of Anarchy,'” said Meeks.
Also, he claims he still receiving "hundreds" of letters of support from fans every month.
I wonder how his wife feels about that...
