Elon Musk's pet project SpaceX just released Vine video of its Falcon 9 booster crashing in an attempt to land on a barge last week. This followed a more successful launch to the space station, reports Slate.
But is Musk's devil-may-care reaction to the MASSIVE EXPLOSION irreverently self-aware, or deeply troubling? The guy seems rather amused with the destruction he's wrought, though yes, it's likely he's just diffusing some tension.

Musk was equally unfazed earlier in the week when he reportedly lost about $2.8 billion. And he seems excited to blow up more expensive objects in the future. If you're of the mind that Musk is a Bond villain after all, be very afraid.
