Harrison Street, between 3rd and 4th, is getting more housing. A new narrow, multi-unit condo development at 766 Harrison Street will raze the former location of Ed’s Autohaus, which moved to 980 Harrison in April.

As Socketsite notes, the plan calls for a nine-story building with 26 residential units, about 5,000 square feet of office space, and a 600-square-foot retail space. Below, check out the design by Ian Birchall and Associates.

The building will have 20 one-bedroom units that average 600 square feet apiece, and six two-bedrooms at around 1,200 square feet each. That sounds like a palace compared to its next door neighbor Cubix’s 300-square-feet units—or those new 174-square-foot micro-units going in at Oak and Octavia.

As of now, the building will not include parking for cars, but there will be 30 spaces set aside for bikes.

SFist reached out to Ian Birchall and Associates to find out when construction will begin, but they declined to comment about the project at this time.
