Doesn't it seem like just yesterday, when the President's 2013 State of the Union Speech highlighted his plans to fix Medicare, close tax loopholes, address climate change and keep the pressure on Syria? Believe it or not, the SOTU is back for its annual go at presenting the President's agenda in the type of persuasive and compelling language that even a child or cantankerous ideological foe can understand.

Tonight from 5:30 to 8:30pm, join the State of the Union watch party at the Connecticut Yankee, hosted by grassroots advocacy group Organizing for Action. The organization focuses on the issues of affordable healthcare, climate change, raising the minimum wage, protecting women's rights and voting rights and immigration reform, so look out for lively coverage on those topics during the post-SOTU discussion. As always, The Yankee will have beer, booze and pub grub aplenty to wash down your civic duties.
