After four days of shut down, members of BART's two unions went back to work getting the trains moving again. They weren't the only ones getting back to work though: an even more marginalized group of BART workers also resumed their regular operations today.

BART's notoriously broken-down escalators (perhaps the only thing in the system getting shit on more than the Unions, who have endured a volley of public outrage during the strike) are getting back to work. Or rather, the repairmen are trying to get them back to work.

Likewise, the system's always delightful buskers finally had an audience again today. Unfortunately, it also looks like BART's cleanup team will have a lot of work in front of them as well: local photographer Steve Rhodes found quite a bit of fresh graffiti around the Glen Park and Powell Street Stations this morning.
