Just in time for your evening commute, northbound South Van Ness Ave from Mission Street to Market Street has been close due to a hazmat situation. (Unconfirmed reports suggest a chemical leak.)
The nearby SFMTA building at Market and Van Ness has also been evacuated. People inside 1 S. Van Ness have complained about shortness of breath, according to KTVU.
