Amidst the revelry and happiness around much of the city there was some violent crime in the Mission Castro over the weekend. Around 9:20 last night two women were stabbed during an altercation involving at least nine people at 17th and Church.
As Mission Local reports, one of the victims became caught up in the fight because she had allegedly bumped into another woman's baby.
Also, this was not a good weekend for walking around with your cell phone out on 19th Street. If you go through this blotter here you'll see that at least three people were robbed of their phones and/or wallets on different blocks of the street, one of them at gunpoint.
