Just in time for a romantic stroll along the Embarcadero come Valentine's eve, the Bay Bridge peacocks these lovely vertical lights. Glorious. It's all part of the new LED art display, christened The Bay Lights, which will turn the Bay Bridge into the world's largest light sculpture.

Artist Leo Villareal programmed 25,000 white LED lights to generate a series of patterns across the structure. Drivers won't be able to view the sculpture while on the bridge. The installation can be viewed from afar. The $8 million installation turns on in March.
