Workers across the country are striking for several reasons, but mainly for a raise of minimum wage to $13, affordable health care, a humane work schedule, and improved working conditions.
The arguably evil chain -- more than 10,000 worldwide! -- as many of you know, treat their employees with scant living-wage respect and pass the saving on to you, the consumer. So far, employees have walked out of stores in at least 7 states, reporters have been kicked out of stores, and Twitter has been trending with images and reports from #walmartstrikers.
