A guest at the Amsterdam Hostel on Taylor Street invited the wrong two ladies back to his room at the average-rated Tendernob crashpad late last week. The hostel guest had reportedly invited two women in their twenties to come check out his accommodations Thursday evening. The two ladies left, only to return a short time later with two guys, also in their twenties, armed with a pistol and a tire iron.
According to Bay City News, the gunman pulled the trigger, but the semi-automatic weapon wasn't loaded. The suspect clicked off two dry rounds while the second suspect attacked with the tire iron. All four suspects fled the scene, making off with the victim's cell phone and two notebooks that we can only imagine contained an account of his epic backpacking trip through California. The victim got scratched and bruised during the scuffle, but he refused medical attention.
