A 33-year-old victim is in critical condition at S.F. General after he was stabbed in the torso near 22nd and Bartlett Wednesday evening. The victim was standing on the sidewalk around 6 p.m. yesterday when the suspect stabbed him in his left side before fleeing the scene.

The victim's injuries were considered life-threatening. The suspect, described only as a man in his 30s, had not been found as of this morning.
