One man is dead this morning after attempting to rob a legal Oakland medical marijuana house. According to KTVU, police responded the a call around 4:45 this morning to a location near the intersection of Webster and Seventh streets in Oakland's Chinatown. "Three men apparently entered the home early Monday intending on a staging an armed robbery. One of the intruders shot at watchdog and the caretaker of the grow operation opened fired a weapon and fatally struck one of the men."

Whoa. Shooting at dogs isn't cool. Anyway, the caretaker was taken into custody for questioning. The two other suspects, simply described as "Asian males," are still at large.
