You know that moment in Bad Girls Club (and why wouldn't you?) where the house's self-described elegant clique besmirches the names within the household's more frivolous clique by calling them out trashy and, most egregious, not at all classy? Well, that issue is what this piece on two new San Francisco brunch offerings is all about.
First, Penthouse Strip Club & Steakhouse will kickoff the first in a series of (non-topless) Sunday cabaret-themed brunches starting August 5 from 11:30 am - 3 pm. While supping on an all-you-can-eat buffet (boasting a roast beef carving station, made-to-order omelets, smoked salmon and cured meats, sushi, corned beef hash, bacon, pates, pastries, and more), you can catch the cool-smooth stylings of a Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin impersonators onstage.
Remember, there will be no unleashed boobs at this brunch. To see mammary glands you so sweetly desire, you will have to return in the evening. Like a gentleman.
Meanwhile, on the classy side, the Ritz-Carlton's Parallel 37 began hosting a regular brunch, from 11 - 2 pm. This more refined yet stylish affair features brunch staples like smoked salmon, eggs benedict and French toast, but also more unique items like oysters with hibiscus mignonette, dungeness crab omelet with fontina cheese, tomatoes and toasted garlic, huevos rancheros or prosciutto pizza with arugula and local farm egg. Brunch items are all priced between $11 and $26 on the ala carte menu. Otherwise, prix fixe brunch will run $48 per person.
This will also a boob-free dining experience. For it is classy.
