Noted comedian, vodka mainliner, and best-selling author Chelsea Handler will appear at San Francisco's esteemed Litquake fall festival. Litquake co-founder Jane Ganahl will appear with the Chelsea Lately host for an "intimate" one-on-one chat at Z Space in the the city's boutique Mission district.

Handler penned such Bukowski-esuqe tomes as My Horizontal Life: A Collection of One-Night Stands, Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea, Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang, and Lies Chelsea Handler Told Me. (Unlike Charles Bukowski's gibberish, however, her delightfully drunken work isn't horrible.)

The show happens on Thursday, October 13, at 8pm. Tickets are $40 in advance, $45 at door. (Pre-Show reception, for guests 21 and over, goes from 6:30 to 7:30 and will run you $100.)

Tickets go on sale Wednesday, 8/17, at www.brownpapertickets.com.
