You would think that the Pride Weekend extravaganza festivities (not to mention the Michael Jackson flash mob) would be enough of a clusterfrack for the city, but why not go ahead and add countless other fun-sounding events to the mix? Treasure Island Flea: The first Treasure Island Flea was a big success, so hop on over to the island and see for yourself. (We think public transit might be your best bet this weekend.) Lots of treasure to be had!

35th Annual Free Folk Festival: Make like salmon and go against the grain toward the Richmond this weekend for some boot-scooting, knee-slapping music and dance covering a huge range of cultures and genres. All ages and skill levels are welcome to jump right in and play, dance, or just listen.

Jazz Mafia Symphony at Stern Grove: Local gems, the Jazz Mafia, are at this Sunday's Stern Grove Festival, performing their "genre-defying fusion of jazz, funk, hip-hop, electronica, and symphonic music," along with guest Chali 2na, known for his MC skills with hip-hop group Jurassic 5 and Ozomatli, guest stars.

Noe Valley Summerfest 2011: Meanwhile, on the opposite end of Castro Street from the Pride action, Noe Valley will play host to lots of activities for families on Saturday, including a petting zoo, hayrides, sidewalk chalk drawing contest, face-painting, hula dancing, and more.
