Embarcadero restaurant Lafitte (on Pier 5) celebrates one year in business this month, and chef Russell Jackson remains steadfastly dedicated to his ingredients, his craft, and newly revamped brasserie menu all, as he puts it, "with a soupçon of insanity thrown in." The place has excellent drinks, and this week we feature one on their current menu, The Strange Love, named in honor of the great film, Dr. Strangelove. It's the bomb.
