Over in DC, it seems that the board of the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority is split on whether or not they want Nat Ford. In an informal poll that doesn't really mean anything, the MWAA's board voted 7-6 for Mr. Ford.

On the homefront, we love to hate on the guy whenever an N-Judah turns around early or any time NextBus displays a double-digit wait, but back East the folks are looking for someone to helm DC's $6.6 billion rail system extension - someone with "honesty and integrity", which they're not sure Mr. Ford has now that they've discovered he owes back taxes, is a little loose with the corporate credit cards and once threw a "lavish party" for Atlanta's transit authority.
