A 25-year-old man, who spoke with a foreign accent, was trapped on a cliff near Lands End for over twelve hours on Saturday night. He had fallen and broken his ankle while climbing an extremely steep cliff to watch the sunset.

Hikers heard the man's cries for help on Sunday morning, and the rescue was a difficult one. Four firefighters repelled a cliff, lowered the victim onto a Jet Ski, and transferred him to a rescue boat. The man suffered from hypothermia, and one of the firefighters twisted his ankle on the muddy rocks during the rescue.
