According to the Examiner this morning, 16-year-old Victor Zheng was fatally stabbed in Ingleside Heights last night near CCSF. Zheng and a friend were walking in the neighborhood just before 11 p.m. last night when the suspect, an 18-year-old man, lashed out - punching the victim "without provocation". Zheng and his friend started followed the guy before he noticed them and turned to stab the younger teen. Zheng was later pronounced dead at SF General from a stab wound to his chest. Cops aren't sure what relationship, if any, there was between the victim and the suspect who is still at large, but the stabbing puts the city's homicide count up to 12 in the first month and a half of 2011. A troubling trend compared to 2010 year's 50 total homicides.
