San Francisco resident Gregory Giusti, 49, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for making threats to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. He was handed a year and nine months in prison, as well as three years of supervised release on Thursday. Giusti, if you recall, called up Pelosi's office and home on several occasions, threatening harm and property loss if Nancy didn't vote against the health care bill. According to SF Appeal, after the sentencing, Giusti asked the judge if he could "hug his mother, retired nurse Eleanor Giusti, before leaving the courtroom." Aw. [Appeal]
