The Annual Indigenous Peoples Thanksgiving: Sunrise Gathering on Alcatraz Island will take place bright and early on Thursday morning. Boats depart Pier 33 every fifteen minutes starting at 4:45 a.m. through 6 a.m.

The gathering is a commemoration of the 1969-71 occupation of Alcatraz by the "Indians of All Tribes," and the line-up will include guest speakers, drummers, Aztec and Pomo Dancers, Maori Haka, Jeremy Goodfeather, and MC Lakota Harden.
