Politician turned celebrity Sarah Palin visited San Jose yesterday to promote conservative values in California. During a pinhead convention, "Palin derided the 'leftist elite,' the 'mainstream media,' and the policies of President Obama and his administration." The former Governor of ice and lumber also discussed issues that affect California, "such as unemployment, and taxes."
"We're here for a reason. We're here because we're concerned about the direction of the country," Palin said. "We are ready to take our government back and become that exceptional America."
After a satisfying bout of famewhoring, Palin met with Victor Cocchia, director of the Liberty and Freedom Foundation, a hate group that sponsored the event and put up this banner in the Castro, and answered questions from the audience.
Palin and her husband Todd left in a motor home afterward to see their teen pregnancy-promoting daughter Bristol perform on Dancing with the Stars.
