Dude Who Scaled Millennium Tower Actually a Fire Safety Advocate?

According to his website, the man who scaled the Millennium Tower yesterday using suction cups, Dan Goodwin a.k.a. Skyscraper Man, is a fire-safety advocate and apparent anti-high-rise activist with a thing for shiny glass-walled buildings. Previously, in the early 80s, Dan gained notoriety for scaling the Sears Tower in Chicago, the John Hancock tower in Boston, and L.A.'s Bonaventure Hotel (see his Wikipedia page). He unfurled an American flag at the end of his ascent yesterday, before being escorted by police to the building's basement for questions regarding his mental state.
