San Francisco's elite Mission District proved that more insufferable over the weekend after Apple CEO Steve Jobs, along with his entourage and his self-consciously Silicon Valleyesque costume, walked away from Flour + Water because he couldn't get a table. (The food there is excellent, hence the wait.)
It's like the time Studio 54 turned away Cher at the door -- only 1,0000x less interesting, of course -- which rocketed the '70s nightclub into the stratosphere. Dear God, we hope one day in the future nightclubs regain the same popularity and significance that S.F. foodie joints now enjoy.
Anyway, according to Mission Mission, Jobs and his crew "proceeded to Arinell, the best pizza in the city."
