Tomorrow morning is the annual Pink Triangle Ceremony on Twin Peaks. The Pink Triangle, which can be seen from miles away, commemorates the gay victims of the Holocaust and is a reminder of the on-going inhumanity to repressed minorities going on now around the world.

Special guests Cloris Leachman will be telling "The History of the Pink Triangle," and Congressman Jared Polis of Colorado, who recently returned from Iraq, will speak of the outrageous and tragic events that are taking place there toward the LGBT community. The San Francisco Lesbian/Gay Freedom Band will perform.

The organizers still need volunteers to help with set up from 7 to 10:30 a.m. tomorrow morning and for the break down on Sunday from 6 to 7 p.m. Please bring both a hammer and work gloves, and wearing layers and closed-toe shoes is recommended. They warn that there might be poison oak. Yikes! Pink Triangle t-shirts, coffee, and donuts will be provided.
