Just the thought of Pearl's Deluxe Burgers (708 Post St, at Jones, SF) gets our mouth watering, which is dangerous, since we live in close proximity to their TenderNob location.
In addition to regular, mini, and grass-fed burgers, Pearl's serves delicious grilled chicken sandwiches and yummy veggie burgers, but our fave is Pearl's grass-fed buffalo burgers. Their buffalo meat is super juicy and lean, with fewer calories and cholesterol than chicken.
Pearl's menu features quite a few options for your burgers as well as side dishes, including chili, salads, regular and sweet potato fries, and shakes of all different flavors. They even have what they call the King Burger, which has a hot dog on top. (That doesn't sound so appealing to us. We think they slice the hot dog in half vertically in order to get it to sit right.)
Pearl's is open until 2 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights to suit your late-night cravings, but be forewarned -- they're closed on Sundays. We've been disappointed by this more than a few times. They also close kind of early on weeknights, at 10 p.m., but when they're open, they're our go-to joint. They also have a Mill Valley location, for those in the North Bay.
