BAR: Celebrate 75 years of the end of prohibition by getting drunk, committing vague acts of sexual assault, and writing ill-advised text messages. Over at Elixir (a bar that has been serving hooch since 1858), they're honoring the end of the booze ban with the 75th Anniversary of Repeal Day. Feel free to come dressed in costume. Or not.

9 p.m. // Elixir (3200 - 16th Street) // free

ART: Poet and artist Jason Torgerson shows off over 60 of his original pieces at his opening reception. What's more, he'll be on hand to sign hundreds of prints under $25. But what's even better is that there will be free food and wine for the taking.

6 p.m. - 10 p.m. // Frankee Uno San Francisco (1221 Divisadero) // free

CLUB: If possible, try to avoid getting shot and killed while attending Club Six's 10-Year Anniversary. If you manage to get inside the Sixth & Market club unscathed, you'll be rewarded with the choice beats by San Francisco-born icon Mix Master Mike. Good luck, folks.

9 p.m. // Club Six (60 Sixth Street) // $10-15
