City Guides is sponsored by the library and is a project of the Tides Center. In addition to touring SF's most (in)famous neighborhoods and hidden gems, they also offer seasonally-themed walks, including two special Ghost Walk tours tomorrow and Monday, lead by Rob Spoor.

Tomorrow night at City Hall: "Disinterred remains, assassinations and other ghostly lore form the focus of this tour, plus little-known facts such as the cemetery that once covered Civic Center. Who (or what) else might be walking alongside us?" Monday at The Palace: "Kings and presidents died here; gunshots echoed through stately corridors, romances ended tragically. Perhaps that explains enduring stories of spectral visions and mysterious occurrences. Join us for a tour of the unknown--and the supernatural!"

For those who can't make it to the ghostly tours, there are general year-round tours of both City Hall and the Palace Hotel. If you've been on a City Guides tour, let us know about it in the comments. We'd also love to hear about the ghost walks!
