One good thing about the election being over is that we no longer have to be submitted to political ads. Oops. Strike that. Two weeks after the election, a "grass-roots" organization (meaning a rich, Silicon Valley mutual funds manager) is about to start running an ad calling for a change in the U.S. Constitution that will allow foreign-born citizens to become President. Hmmm… we wonder what foreign-born politician could that organization be thinking of? If you guessed the Governator, you'd be right. The group, calling themselves "Amend for Arnold," plans to run 30-second ads in San Francisco, the Silicon Valley, Sacramento, Stockton and Los Angeles. Lucky us.

Arnold himself has been quiet on the ads- a press flak for the Governor has declined to comment- but he has said that if he could, he wouldn't mind running for President. "You always shoot for the top," he told 60 Minutes, but added that he's too focused on fixing Cal-ee-fornia to worry about running for President, a statement which everyone totally says the moment they're about to run for President. The issue has even been debated in Congress, with two bills having been introduced over the past year, but to not much debate. Whether the bills will be debated during next year's congress or whether congress will be too busy trying to save America from Godless, gay-loving Democrats and the moderate Republicans who occasionally sound like them, we'll have to see. We wonder, however, if Schwarzenegger does indeed run for President in some unforeseen future, will it mean we will be forever doomed to endless "girly-men" and "I'll be back" quips? They never get old.
