So tomorrow you'll have done your homework, stood in line, gotten your sticker and have been a good citizen.
Now you just need a drink. On Election Day there are Parties (Democrat, Republican, third parties who never seem to have a chance) and there are parties (drinking, smoking, engaging in a little "bipartisanship" and a rousing game of pin the tail on the donkey). So after you've cast your vote, you democracy-loving fools, you can check out any number of local establishments who'll be showing the talking heads blabbing endlessly while we all wait around for Hawaii. Yeah, we said it, Hawaii. Go figure.
We aren't going to go crazy ourselves or anything. It's not like having 3 television sets in the same room tuned to different news stations is overkill. Right? We're just having a few friends over and will watch on pins and needles along with the rest of the world. And, on the increasingly-not-off-chance that it all doesn't get really decided for a few months, we've laid in supplies.
