Derek over at Ephemera emailed us this morning to point out that he had visited the candlelight vigil in the panhandle organized by Berkeley's MoveOn.org and Win Without War and took some pictures. The vigils were organized in response to the death toll among American troops in Iraq reaching the humbling one-thousand mark. Over seven thousand other soldiers have been wounded. Iraqi deaths have been estimated at being over ten thousand. For thoughts on the continuing conflict from on the ground in Baghdad, we've been following Christopher Allbriton at Back to Iraq. More photos after the jump.
