As a short note, we wanted to welcome our new friends DCist to the Gothamist family. SFist has a bunch of talented friends from art school who graduated from Duke Ellington School for the Arts who tipped us off to DuPont Circle, GoGo jams and the sartorial elegance of Chocolate City fashions. If you're looking to hook up with congressional aides like Washingtonienne, we're sure DCist will let you know where to find 'em. We think DCist is going to take Washington like John Brown took Harper's Ferry.
