We hope he doesn't meet up with a T-Rex. We've heard they're fierce.

His drummer, Arjun Singh, is completely depressed and wants some help.

What You Can Do to Help:
You can buy his recently released EP on iTunes. Apparently all of this started when Reed found out that Grand Theft Auto IV out-sold his EP. (Can you believe it?) If we can boost the numbers, maybe Reed will come back. Maybe. Only time will tell. Please call (510) 493-7835 if you have any information or leads. We definitely think the venue is too big for her style and personality but it will still be worth it to listen to her quirky lyrics and fun rhymes. Just remember not to stand next to any annoying drunk bitches - they'll ruin everything.

Wednesday, head over to the Independent and catch sOuth, another band from England. Their sound is definitely indie-rock but it's still fresh and not over-played. Check out their newest single, "Better Things". If you want some local music, then the party will be at <strike>Rickshaw Stop</strike> Amoeba with the hugely popular band, The Dodos. We have a feeling that show will be amazing. Update: Rickshaw Stop will be hosting another local favorite: Port O'Brien. They are super; we saw them open for Nada Surf and loved them!

Langhorne Slim will be performing their folk-ish soul music at The Independent on Thursday night. He just released his debut album at the end of last month and was recently on The Late Show with Dave Letterman.

Saturday night, it's time to party it up with Pop Roxx at the DNA Lounge. At eleven, The Frail - one of our favorite local bands - will be throwing down their dance grooves with their electrifying synth sounds and crazy beats. Don't miss this dance explosion! popscene's DJ's Omar and Aaron will be even there. Party starts at 9pm and wear blue - it's the color theme, yo!

Wallpaper">
Wallpaper has brought back the 90's and in the best possible way. We imagined the crowd to be in a head-bopping frenzy but, in the short thirty minute set, Rickshaw Stop became a full-fledged 90's dance party. He's infused his own style into the <strike>dead</strike> revived musical art-form: New Jack Swing and it's the shit. He even did a cover of Bell Biv Divoe's "Poison". It was 90's heaven. We were on the balcony looking over the crowd and we can guarantee that every person (ages 8-60) was having a total blast.

His set-up includes, "...some ghetto jerry shit. We use an iPod video and run it into the house system, playing our videos off the thing. That's it." (It's really just one more reason why we absolutely loved the show!) It was so refreshing. He sang all of his songs off his upcoming EP which included my favorites, "Evrytm We Do It" and "Txt Me Yr Love". He wants the Bay Area to know that "...I'm down with how ill your sneakers are. Everyone here has ill sneakers. Also I want her not to worry, I'm not leavin. I'mone raise a family here." There you have it; he's not leaving. He's all ours!

He's performing at Bottom of the Hill on Sunday, March 9th. Don't miss this show; you'll regret it.
