A peace march is happening tonight in the Mission district, so that everyone can collectively be all WTF regarding the "wave of violence that has alarmed residents and prompted increased police presence" in the neighborhood. Hosted by Mission Education Project Inc. and the Lower 24th Street Merchant & Neighborhood Association, concerned citizens will gather at 6:30 p.m. at 24th Street and Treat Avenue. The march is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. sharp. Aside from making people feel better, we're not sure what this will accomplish; but stay safe out there during the march, people. (CBS 5)
