A peace march is happening tonight in the Mission district, so that everyone can collectively be all WTF regarding the <a href="http://sfist.com/2008/09/07/outsides_to_blame_for_alleged_crime.php">"wave of violence</a> that has alarmed residents and prompted increased police presence" in the neighborhood. Hosted by Mission Education Project Inc. and the Lower 24th Street Merchant &amp; Neighborhood Association, concerned citizens will gather at 6:30 p.m. at 24th Street and Treat Avenue. The march is scheduled to start at 7 p.m. sharp. Aside from making people <i>feel</i> better, we're not sure what this will accomplish; but stay safe out there during the march, people.
