A little after 8 p.m. on Wednesday night, a four-door Toyota sedan hit a cyclist riding at 17th and Valencia streets. "The full extent of the bicyclist's injuries was not immediately known," reports BCN (via SF Examiner). "[T]he victim was in pain but conscious and talking when emergency crews took him to the hospital."

Nancy Ho, the 25-year-old helmetless cyclist who was crashed into a truck at Fremont and Mission on Tuesday morning, succumbed to her injuries and died. Helmetless Cyclist In Serious Condition After Traffic Violation Ends In Tragedy
SFPD issued a correction to their original report regarding this morning's Embarcadero bike-truck crash, saying that the cyclist actually suffered life-threatening injures. (The initial report listed her dead.) Also, it seems that a minor traffic violation on behalf of the cyclist prompted the unfortunate scenario. According to surveillance footage, she had been pedaling east on Mission Street and was hit by the westbound truck as she turned left onto Fremont Street. "Both the truck driver and the bicyclist had a green light, but the bicyclist was making an illegal left turn," SFPD reports.

Early Sunday morning in the city's Mission District, a cyclist reportedly ignored a red light, which then prompted the late-night peddler to collided with a passing taxicab. The crash was reported a little before 1 a.m. at the intersection of 14th and Mission. "The bicyclist, a 46-year-old man, was traveling east on 14th Street when he was struck by a cab traveling north on Mission Street," reports SF Appeal. "The bicyclist was taken to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for injuries that were considered life-threatening, although the victim's condition was said to be improving today."

A bicyclist suffered a nasty head injury after colliding with a car at 19th Avenue and Ortega on Monday afternoon. Oakland Man Charged In S.F. Bicyclist Hit & Run Death
Today, prosecutors charged Oakland resident Joshua Calder, 36, with vehicular manslaughter while intoxicated after an alleged hit-and-run crash on Friday night. Bus Driver Refuses to Stop After 5-Fulton Hits Cyclist
SF Weekly reports: "[5-Fulton passenger Mary] Chancey said around 10 bus riders implored the driver to stop following the 8:30 collision -- but he instead left the scene. When SF Weekly arrived just before 8:40, the young female cyclist was lying in the middle of the road, and police and fire soon arrived."
(UPDATED) Redwood City Cyclist Killed In Hit-And-Run
A woman riding her bike this morning was stuck and killed by a dump truck in Redwood City. According to KTVU, the accident, reported at "7:51 a.m. at the intersection of Shoreway Road and Holly Street," was of the hit-and-run variety. Redwood City police Sgt. Kathy Anderson said "it appears that the driver may not even be aware that he struck anyone." Also, the cyclist died at the scene.
Cyclist Hits M Ocean View
A little after 10:30 a.m. today, a male cyclist "early to mid-twenties" collided with the M Ocean View at Arch and Randolph, temporarily disrupting service. According to SF Appeal, "the bicyclist was traveling southbound (downhill) on Arch Street and struck the right side of the train as it headed inbound (westbound) on Randolph Street through the intersection." No word yet who failed to observe the stop sign. The cyclist was whisked to San Francisco General Hospital to be treated for serious injuries. We hope his recovery is a speedy one.

Because this infamous intersection isn't dangerous enough, the SF Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors have "unanimously endorsed its traffic engineer's plan to eliminate the eastbound bike lane on Market Street at Octavia Boulevard" despite protests from cyclists who don't want to die while riding Market Street. Two Drivers Sought in Deadly Richmond Hit and Run
Good grief, what is going on in the city of Richmond? First, some pigs gang rape a woman because she had a rainbow flag stick affixed to the back of her car. Then, on Saturday at around 6 p.m., a female cyclist was hit twice by two separate vehicles. Laura Casey, 49, was riding her bike when "a white, four-door sedan rear-ended her," knocking her to the ground. As Casey screamed for help, according to reports, she was fatally "struck by a second vehicle, which dragged her 25 feet, then drove away." Update: Another Muni-Cyclist Accident
After colliding with an elusive 16-X Muni bus on Upper Great Highway, a cyclist is in critical condition this morning. The crash happened at around 6:30 p.m. According to reports, the bicyclist was allegedly not wearing a helmet, heading "eastbound on Noriega Street from Upper Great Highway to Lower Great Highway" when the bike clipped the bus traveling in the same direction. The unidentified victim is at the hospital being treated for life-threatening injuries. Also, this most recent accident occurred after a cyclist was hit on Townsend Street, and another was injured on Fillmore and Fulton. UPDATE: According to the Taraval police station crime report's "6:33 p.m.; Noriega and Great Highway, Muni Bus Hits Cyclist/cyclist dead at scene.

A reader, Ryan Hogan, sent SFist the above image, snapped this morning, after he witnessed a bike-auto accident. It seems a cyclist collided with a truck at Fulton and Fillmore. "Bikes pick up a lot of speed coming east on Fulton in the bike lane towards downtown, and it looks like a box truck was turning and the biker slammed into the truck, possibly even sliding underneath," Hogan explains and adds, "it looked like the biker was sitting on the ground, looking dazed, with six of seven people around him. They seemed to be waiting for authorities to show up."

Santa Cruz Cyclist Stabs Motorist
Authorities are looking for, oh dear, "a bicyclist in Santa Cruz who fled after allegedly stabbing a motorist during a confrontation." It seems there was some sort of heated driver-to-cyclist confrontation today, which culminated with the guy on the bike kicking the guy's car door, hitting the driver in the face with a broom handle, and then finishing the job by stabbing the motorist. Update: Another Biker Down
A San Francisco cyclist is "clinging to life" after they were hit by a pickup truck at a freeway off-ramp yesterday. In the heavy-traffic area of Bayshore Boulevard at the Cesar Chavez Street off-ramp, the unidentified bicyclist was hit while trying to cross several lanes of traffic at around 2:10 p.m.

Sadly, a bicyclist was hit by a vehicle this morning and killed. SFPD arrived at the scene at around 10:55 a.m. at Fulton and Steiner streets. The cyclist, whose name has yet to be released, was "pronounced dead at the scene."
Market Street Hit-Run Injures Cyclist, Kills Dog
A little before midnight on Sunday, at the notoriously dangerous Octavia and Market Street intersection, a driver plowed into a 27-year-old bicyclist, injuring her and killing her dog "who was either being carried or riding in a bike basket," according to San Francisco police Sgt. Neville Gittens.
