Matt Roberts, the same drone videographer who has been dutifully giving us monthly updates on the new Apple campus for years now, now brings us an early look at the progress over at the new Warriors Arena in Mission Bay, a.k.a. the Chase Center. As you can see, the outlines of the round structure are starting to show, and even a couple of concrete outer walls have started to go up.

The 18,000-seat arena is expected to be complete in two years time, by late 2019.

As we know from earlier, Uber is an equity stakeholder in the project, which includes 580,000 square feet of office space, at least half of which Uber is expected to move into when the Chase Center is complete.

Over a year ago, a judge ruled that the Warriors could go forward with the project, following on over a year of tensions with a shadowy but well funded group of opponents affiliated with UCSF Medical Center who tried to sue to block the project. They were finally able to break ground on the arena this past January, and the video shows you what's happened in 10 months.

If nothing else, once this thing is complete, San Francisco can look forward to more big concerts right here in the city, and stars like Janet Jackson won't have to perform at the Concord Pavilion — or, god forbid, Levi's Stadium.
