After the election, chatter started to pick up again about Kanye West running for president in 2020. Well, speaking to his audience at the SAP Center on his special Saint Pablo Tour hoverboard, West reminded everyone that he didn't vote, adding, "But if I would have voted, I would have voted on Trump."
"This is my platform and I'm going to talk about the paradigm shift that's happening right now."

Shockingly, the crowd was not impressed with his honesty:

West also said, "Specifically, to black people, stop focusing on racism... This world is racist, okay? Let's stop being distracted to focus on that as much. It's just a fucking fact, we are in a racist country, period."

(Reminder: West famously declared in 2005, during a televised Hurricane Katrina fundraiser, "George Bush doesn't care about black people.")
He also gave Trump credit for winning, because his campaign's strategy was "absolutely genius, because it fucking worked":
Kanye just stopped Jesus Walks, talking about how Trump is a genius.

Obviously Kanye is angling for a Cabinet position! Anyway, it turns out that West was quiet about the election because he was advised to, uh, be discreet:
Kanye says Scooter Braun told him not to come out as a Trump supporter before election night.

Twitter user RaptorJesuss liveTweeted the concert; here's more of what future President West—because he confirmed he is running in 2020—said:
Kanye said as a black man and as a celebrity he felt persecuted for supporting Trump, feels vindicated.

Someone threw something at Kanye that hit him, he's now threatening to cancel the show. "Am I not allowed to have an opinion?"
— Raptor (@RaptorJesuss) November 18, 2016
Kanye just stopped the show again "Wether you voted for Hillary and Trump, this is a safe space for both of you"

Part of the Kanye rant where he said he's going to use a different political model in 2020 when he runs. pic.twitter.com/wmc2mLlCfg
